246 Lbs. of natural white pigment rests in a carefully sifted pile on a pedestal in the middle of the gallery floor. The pigment, sourced from Goddard's home state of Georgia, is an abstraction of the physical body. Natural properties of the sifted pigment underscore the inescapable aspects of inherent whiteness, privilege, and fragility. The sifted pile actively cracks from the vibration of viewers footsteps around the gallery.

The gaze of Our Lady of Perpetual Iniquities falls directly on the installation, while also meeting the viewer as they enter the gallery space.
